Any teacher who is requesting a transfer must meet all the necessary requirements as stated in the GES condition of service.

Steps To Follow When Seeking For Inter-Regional Transfer

1. Firstly, one must secure an assurance.

2. Apply directly to your district office with your assurance letter.

3. Your district will forward your letter to the region after they have approved the letter.

4. When the region also approves it, a full set of documents will be sent to the Director-General.

5. After the Director-General’s approval, the letter will be sent to the regional education office.

6. The region will then release a letter.

NB: The teacher’s request can only be guaranteed by the regional and district offices after the Director-General has approved the application.
