Beyonce’s ‘Black Is King’ Album has been a great celebration of what it means to be black.
The feature of Shatta Wale on the album has been a good thing for Ghana.
However, as it happens there were Ghanaians both in front of and behind the camera
Ashesi University Celebrates Its Alumnus

One of those Ghanaians behind the camera is David Boanuh.
David is an alumnus of Ashesi University and his alma mater could not have been prouder of his accomplishment.
The university took to Twitter to celebrate David and share the news of his work.

“For Beyonce’s new Disney+ film “Black is King”, Ashesi alum David Boanuh ’19 served as Director of Photography for scenes shot in Ghana, helping bring unique representations of Africa to the film described as a “a celebratory memoir for the world on the Black experience,” the university wrote on Twitter.
Congrats to David and all the other Ghanaian creatives who were both in front of and behind the camera.
