Are you curious about how much teachers in Ghana earn? In this article, we’ll break down the Ghana Education Service (GES) salary structure in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

Teachers in Ghana are paid using the single spine salary structure (SSS), a system that determines pay based on qualifications, experience, and job type.

This system replaced the old Ghana Universal Salary Structure (GUSS) in 2010.

Unlike single spine systems, Ghana’s is customized for different sectors like education, so pay grades vary.
