Did you take the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) and feel your score wasn’t fair? You’re not alone!

The National Teaching Council (NTC) allows candidates to request remarking if they believe their scripts were not graded accurately.

NTC Licensure Exam Remarking

Here’s a simple guide to help you through the process:

1. Write a Letter:

Start by writing an official letter to the NTC requesting remarking. Clearly state your full name, NTC index number, and the specific papers you want to be re-evaluated. Attach a copy of your NTC GTLE registration slip, and your official results slip.

2. Highlight Concerns:

In your letter, politely explain why you believe your marks should be reviewed. Did you find any errors in the marking? Do you have evidence to support your claim? Be specific and professional in your explanation.

3. Submit Your Application:

Send your completed letter and the required attachments to the NTC headquarters in Accra. You can also submit your application electronically through the NTC website.

4. Fees and Timeline:

The current fee for remarking each paper is GH¢600.00. Be sure to include payment with your application. The NTC will typically process your request within 4-6 weeks.

5. Receiving Results:

Once the remarking process is complete, you’ll receive a notification from the NTC. Your new results will be posted on the NTC website, and you’ll also receive a hard copy by mail.
