Are you a private candidate looking to register for the WAEC Nov/Dec exams? Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process:

Step 1: Create a Profile

Visit the official WAEC website: https://waecgh.org/ and create a profile using a valid email address and password. This information will be needed to log in for future actions.

Step 2: Fresh Registration

Enter your details, including:

  • Name: Surname first, followed by first name and middle name (if applicable).
  • Date of Birth
  • Region
  • Email Address
  • Postal Address
  • Disability (if any)

Step 3: Biometric Registration

  1. Get your fingerprints captured at a designated internet cafe. The list of restaurants is available on the WAEC website.
  2. Open the registration website: https://waecgh.org/
  3. Select “WASSCE for Private Candidates”
  4. Click “START REGISTRATION HERE”
  5. Fill in the required security information and your details.
  6. Upload a scanned recent passport-size photograph and your signature.
  7. Select your preferred region and centre for the exam.
  8. Choose the subjects you want to register for (maximum 8).
  9. Print your voucher and take it to any listed banks for payment.
  10. Pay the registration fees using cash or a visa card.
  11. After payment, use your PIN/Invoice Number to access your index number and admission notice.

Other requirements

  1. Photo Specifications: The scanned photograph should be between 160 pixels (width) and 200 pixels (height). The scanned signature should be between 250 pixels (width) and 150 pixels (size).
  2. Registration Deadline: The registration deadline is 10th November.
