Graduating the fresh teachers, the Principal of the College, Rev Sister Elizabeth Amoako Arhen charged the new teachers to make teaching and learning experiences entertaining and fun, so that the children they are going to teach will enjoy going to school. He entreated them to bring a lot of innovation and creativity in their teaching, always upholding what OLA College stands for; promoting quality teaching and learning as well as academic excellence.

“We are graduating you to go out there as ambassadors of this great College, as agents of change, to go and make a difference in the lives of the Children you are going to teach” she added.

The Principal urged the graduating students not to be what she called “WhatsApp teachers” but rather make reading a part and parcel of their lives, to cultivate the habit of reading good storybooks.

“My dear fresh teachers, the future of our nation depends on how you behave and promote effective teaching and learning in your classrooms” she noted.
