“We have woefully been going through the following predicaments for over six (6) months;

  1. Working on an empty stomach
  2. Accommodation and utilities bill challenges
  3. Footing on long distance to work, just to mention a few.

All because, we lack the funds for that, but we are working”

Honestly, life have become very unbearable to us since we are unable to sometimes buy water to drink not to even think of food or transport”  the statement said.

They plead to the government to get all October Rotational Nurses and Midwives on the Integrated Personnel and Payroll database (IPPD), Staff ID generation, Biometric Verification done to enable them receive their unpaid allowances.

They further call on government to involve all the Rotational Nurses and Midwives in any bonus package given to the Health workers as they also contribute to the fight against COVID-19 in Mother Ghana and also want the government to pay them base on the 12L 2019 single spine salary scale.
