Mr Smith Ebenezer is a level 300 nursing student of the University of Health and Allied Sciences and a former Floor Rep of Defiat Hostel.

He is an alumni of Kumasi Anglican Senor High School(KASS) , where he served as Library Prefect during his time.
He is a young boy endowed with leadership skills and his the vision to be one of the most outstanding student leaders in Ghana.

He was an English tutor in Benin for one academic year, after this period, he published his first book entitled ” Ways to Success”


He held a number of respectable positions at his Alma mater(KASS), some of which include: Vice President of Catholic Student Union , Secretary of Writers and Debaters Club, Secretary of Science Club Association among others.

At the tertiary level, he has kept high the standard of leadership, having served as a Clerk for the General Assembly of the 2018/2019 Federal SRC. He also served as Research officer for National Health Students’ of Ghana(NAHSAG) for Volta and western Regions during this same period. He is currently vice President of the Nursing and Midwifery Students’ Association of UHAS and the Organizer for NAHSAG, Volta/western Bloc. He is also the UNYA Youth MP for Asewasi Constituency.

With all these leadership experiences at his disposal, he wants to officially declare his intention to contest for the position of Federal SRC Secretary in the upcoming SRC general elections.


He is a leader with ambitions, endowed with great writing skills coupled with the zeal to fight for students’ needs.
He believes that a good leader is not one confined in a narrow space of limited skills, but one who is innovative, competent, ready to learn and unlearn, and work together with other leaders to achieve a common goal.

He has held a number of secretarial roles since his childhood.

He won the Overall 2nd best Ghanaian Students Writer of the Year in National Students Awards in 2019.

He also won an award at the UN SDG Awards 2019 held at KNUST for his massive support towards SDG number 2 in 2019.

It is his dream to lift high the prestigious image of UHAS SRC and that of UHAS at large. He therefore humbly appeals for your unyielding support to win this race to serve as Federal SRC SECRETARY.
