Young female teacher uses her school allowance to buy learning materials for pupils

Belinda Yayra Kpormatsi, a benevolent Basic 3 teacher at Ve-Golokuati R/C Primary in the Volta Region, has been impacting the lives of young people in an extraordinary way despite having access to very limited resources. Belinda Kpormatsi, the teacher for the Basic 3 class at Ve-Golokuati R/C Primary has warmed hearts after a story of how she’s touching the lives of young pupils at the school came to the attention of YEN.com.gh.

The Basic 3 teacher uses her allowance to buy learning materials for pupils whose parents cannot afford to buy basic education essentials for their studies. Speaking to YEN.com.gh, Belinda Yayera Kpormatsi noted that children are a blessing and ought to be treated special. ”When you gift them with gifts which will make them be somebody in future, there is much reward. I believe in giving for the more you give the more you will get in return,” she said.

The Basic Three (3) teacher at Ve-Golokuati R/C Primary School recently donated exercise books, pencils, erasers to the less privileged ones in her class to enable them work on their assignments. According to Belinda, she decided to step in and help many of them due to untold situations their parents are facing which makes them unable to buy their kids learning material to work on their assignments. Belinda plans to start a foundation, BK Foundations which will focus on providing the education needs to help the deprived in her school.
