- Create a Profile: Log in to the online applicant system, create a profile, and ensure the displayed amount is in Vietnamese Dong (VND) if you’re making the payment in Vietnam.
- Schedule Your Appointment: Click on the “Schedule My Appointment” option, fill in the required visa details, and proceed to the payment screen.
- Payment Options: Choose “Payment Options” on the payment screen. You’ll print a deposit slip to take to a Vietnam Post location. If applying for multiple visas, only one payment is required.
- Visit Vietnam Post: Take the printed deposit slip, one copy of the applicant’s passport or DS160 Confirmation page, and cash to any Vietnam Post branch. Pay the exact amount indicated on the deposit slip.
- Save Your Receipt: After payment, save the receipt for your records. You’ll need it to schedule your interview, and it cannot be replaced if lost.
- Wait for Activation: Once you’ve paid the visa fee, wait until it’s activated before scheduling your interview/application. Refer to the Payment Processing Timelines provided.
